FLIGHTS: Mission participants will need to secure their own flight arrangements for the mission.  Due to logistical complications, CGLG cannot obtain a discounted group rate. It is suggested that participants book flights through a travel agent or by booking on the web. We would like participants to book “Group” Jakarta to Ho Chi Minh City and Ho Chi Minh City to Bangkok flights. More information on flights can be found here.

Mission participants will need to apply for a visa to enter Indonesia and Vietnam. If individuals plan to make follow-up trips to Indonesia and Vietnam, they should consider purchasing a business visa that allows multiple entries valid for one year.

GROUND TRANSPORTATION

CGLG's representatives in Southeast Asia will arrange airport to hotel transportation for those arriving the evening of Saturday, March 17, in Jakarta.  Mission participants will be met after they have cleared customs.

On Wednesday, March 21, ground transportation from hotel to the Jakarta airport will be provided for mission participants who are scheduled on Singapore Airlines Flight SQ959 to Ho Chi Minh City departing Jakarta 2:15 p.m. Transportation will be waiting in Ho Chi Minh City to transport the group to the hotel. Mission participants not on the above-mentioned flight will be responsible for their own transportation.

On Saturday, March 24, ground transportation from the hotel to the Ho Chi Minh City airport will be provided for mission participants who are scheduled on Vietnam Airlines Flight 603 departing Ho Chi Minh City at 5:05 p.m. to Bangkok, Thailand.  Transportation will be waiting in Bangkok to transport the group to hotel.  Mission participants not on the above-mentioned flight will be responsible for their own transportation.

There will be one trip made to the Bangkok airport on Wednesday, March 28.  A specific departure time will be determined upon review of flight schedules. 

 

 

TRAVEL TO BUSINESS APPOINTMENTS

Each participant will receive instructions on the location of individual business appointments, the distance to those appointments from the hotel and the best mode of transport to travel to the appointment.  Cost of travel to the meetings (by taxi etc.) and interpreters will be the responsibility of the individual participant.
