Zoe Munro, Program Manager
Zoë Munro serves as Program Manager with the Council of Great Lakes Governors, a non-partisan partnership of the Great Lakes Governors and Premiers created to advance the region’s environmental health and high-performance economy.
Zoë manages the Governors’ regional trade and economic development initiative which administers seven foreign trade offices. The mission of the trade offices is to assist small to mid-size companies from the Great Lakes region in exporting their goods and services. Zoë has coordinated and led nine successful multi-state trade missions to Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Indonesia, New Zealand, Peru, Qatar, South Africa, Thailand, Vietnam and the United Arab Emirates.
Previously Zoë was the Special Assistant to the Chief Policy Advisor and Director of Cabinet Affairs for Ohio Governor Bob Taft. Prior to her work in Governor Taft’s office she was an aide to a State Representative in the Ohio House of Representatives.
Zoë earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Wittenberg University in Springfield, Ohio and is a Certified Global Business Professional (CGBP) accredited by the National Association of Small Business International Trade Educators (NASBITE).
